The notion that we need to look at one page on the web to get all of our information is nonsense. Weather, stock quotes, news, email - we don't need to see them all at once if the BEST email program, the BEST finance site, the BEST weather page is half a millisecond and one click away.

Microsoft Needs to Restore User Trust: A Name Change?

After all of the lawsuits, Phillip Morris became Altria. Maybe, after all of its lawsuits, Microsoft needs a new name. Something that can help it start to rebuild trust with its users. What would have happened if Andersen Consulting had not become Accenture?
